Terms of service

These terms govern your use of YourInvited, a service of UKIYO BV, Broekstraat 73, 9255 Buggenhout, België, enterprise number 0794.444.648, VAT BE 0794.444.648. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The service

YourInvited lets you build and share digital invitations, collect RSVPs and enable optional modules (such as the throwaway camera). We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.

Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens through your account.

As a host you enter data about your guests (names, email addresses) and guests may contribute content (RSVPs, photos). As the host, you warrant that you inform your guests and have the right to use their data for this purpose.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • publish unlawful, defamatory or infringing content;
  • use the service for spam or unsolicited mass communication;
  • circumvent security measures or disrupt the service.

Prices and payment

A free invitation stays free. Paid items (premium styles, modules, plans and bespoke work) show their price before you order. All prices are in euro and, unless expressly stated otherwise, include VAT. No shipping costs or other surcharges are added. Ordering as a business, you enter your company name and VAT number at checkout; they appear on your order confirmation, which serves as the invoice reference.

Payment is handled online by Mollie B.V., which offers the payment methods shown on the checkout screen. Your order is concluded only once the payment is confirmed as successful; you then receive an email confirmation with your order details and these terms.

A one-off event licence covers the single event it was bought for, on the date you provide at purchase. A subscription runs for the term you choose, expires automatically and is never silently renewed: you renew it yourself from your account.

A custom theme starts with a free brief in your account. We make a first version that you preview in your account; you only pay when you activate the theme, at the price shown with it at that moment. That price includes two feedback rounds; an extra round costs the price shown with the request and is paid up front. A custom theme is delivered inside YourInvited and not handed over as separate files.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have fourteen days to withdraw from an online purchase. YourInvited supplies digital content that becomes available immediately: as soon as you pay, your style, modules or plan are unlocked. We do not ask you to waive your right of withdrawal at checkout: it applies for the full fourteen days, even though the content is already usable.

You exercise it by sending us an unambiguous statement within fourteen days of the order to hello@yourinvited.app. The full explanation and the model form are further down this page, under Right of withdrawal.

Processing of guest data (art. 28 GDPR)

For the data you enter about your guests as a host, you are the controller and we are the processor. This clause serves as the data processing agreement between you and us.

  • Subject matter and duration: we process guest data solely to operate your invitation, RSVPs, guestbook, gift list and photo modules, for as long as your account or invitation exists.
  • Instructions: we process that data only on your instructions, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
  • Confidentiality: everyone on our side with access is bound to confidentiality.
  • Security: we take appropriate technical and organisational measures as described in the privacy policy.
  • Sub-processors: we only use the processors listed in the privacy policy and impose the same obligations on them. New sub-processors are announced in advance so you can object.
  • Assistance: we help you within reasonable limits with guest requests and with data breaches, and report a breach to you without undue delay.
  • Return and erasure: when you delete your invitation or account we erase the guest data, except what we are legally required to keep.
  • Audit: on request we provide the information you need to assess our compliance.

Intellectual property

YourInvited's software, templates and brand remain the property of UKIYO BV. Content you or your guests provide (texts, photos) remains yours; you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to provide the service.

Conformity and warranty

As a consumer you are entitled to digital content and services that match what we promise. If something does not work as it should, report it to hello@yourinvited.app: we will fix it free of charge, and if we cannot do so within a reasonable period you are entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract under Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law. These statutory rights are not limited by these terms.

Liability

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of data you could have exported or missed events. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it.

Termination and changes

You can delete your account at any time through the studio. We may suspend accounts in case of abuse. We may amend these terms; for material changes we will notify you by email or through the service.

Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, email hello@yourinvited.app first. We aim to reply within seven working days and to find a solution together.

If we cannot resolve it, as a consumer you can turn free of charge to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels (consumentenombudsdienst.be).

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of our registered office, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of jurisdiction in favour of consumers.

Right of withdrawal

If you buy from UKIYO BV online as a consumer, you generally have fourteen days to change your mind. Below is exactly how that works for digital content such as YourInvited, and how you exercise your right of withdrawal.

The fourteen-day period

For a distance contract for services or digital content you have fourteen calendar days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. No penalty applies.

Digital content included

YourInvited supplies digital content that is not on a tangible medium and that becomes available immediately after payment. The law allows a seller to ask you to waive the right of withdrawal for such content at checkout (art. VI.53, 13° Belgian Code of Economic Law); we do not. Your fourteen-day period simply keeps running, and your order confirmation email repeats that.

When you can still exercise it

If delivery has not started, for example for a bespoke order we have not begun yet, you can simply withdraw within fourteen days. We refund you within fourteen days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method you used.

If we have already started the bespoke work with your express consent, on withdrawal you pay an amount proportionate to what has already been delivered.

How to withdraw

Send an unambiguous statement to hello@yourinvited.app, or to UKIYO BV, Broekstraat 73, 9255 Buggenhout, België. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Sending the notice in time is enough.

Model withdrawal form

To UKIYO BV, Broekstraat 73, 9255 Buggenhout, België, hello@yourinvited.app:

I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following digital content or service: ..............

Ordered on (*)/Received on (*): .............. Name of consumer(s): .............. Address of consumer(s): .............. Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): .............. Date: ..............

(*) Delete as appropriate.

Complaints

If we cannot resolve things between us, as a consumer you can turn free of charge to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels (consumentenombudsdienst.be).

Accessibility statement

UKIYO BV strives to make YourInvited accessible to everyone, in line with WCAG 2.1 level AA and European accessibility legislation.

Measures

To support accessibility we:

  • use semantic HTML, form labels and ARIA attributes;
  • provide keyboard navigation in the core flows (registration, RSVP, studio);
  • pay attention to colour contrast in the main interface.

Known limitations

The demo invitations in the collection are creative, highly visual designs; some animation-heavy templates do not yet meet AA contrast everywhere or offer limited screen-reader support. We are improving this incrementally.

Feedback

Did you run into an accessibility problem? Email us at hello@yourinvited.app, we aim to respond within 14 days and resolve the issue.
