Christmas Eve at Els and Pieter’s in Ghent. At the top, glossy baubles in gold, cream and red hang from a golden garland and sway gently, above a calm countdown to the party. The theme is deep Christmas red with gold and cream and keeps quiet otherwise: a cream invitation card, a programme of four moments, a Secret Santa section shaped like a gift tag with three short steps and the budget, practical details and a short reply form with just your name and whether you come. Switch on the Secret Santa module and the app draws the names from the guest list and emails every guest their match; the button on the invitation lets guests put their wish list online.
