Trick or Treat: digital party invitation
Knock. Take a candy. Come.
The invitation is a front door. Knock: the door swings open and in the hallway sits a bowl full of wrapped candies. Tap one and it unwraps itself. Three candies are sweet: each drops a note with when, where and the invitation itself. Three others are a trick: a lemon-sour one that makes the whole screen pucker, a rubber spider that lowers itself on a thread, and one that lets loose a swarm of bats. Bowl empty, and it rains candy and you may come in. The route is a path of five doors, the rules of the street sit on three cards, the practical details hang on a door hanger you flip over. To reply you ring the bell: ding dong, you are on the candy list, with the candy you found along for the ride.
The demo opens in a new tab, with sample text and sample photos.
