Baby shower or a party after the birth
The words overlap. A baby shower is held before the birth, for the parents-to-be. In Belgium and the Netherlands the more common party comes after the birth, when family and friends come to meet the baby.
A party after the birth differs from other parties in one way: the date depends on the birth. With a digital invitation you prepare everything in advance and send it as soon as you know the date.
What goes on the invitation?

- Your child's name, and the date of birth if it is known.
- The date of the party, with a start and an end time. An end time is welcome here.
- The venue, with the address.
- Whether children are welcome.
- By when you expect a reply.

Christening and first communion
A christening or a communion usually comes with two moments: the service in church and the party after it. Put both on the invitation, each with a time and an address, and say clearly which part someone is invited to.

What it costs
Starting is free, with up to 25 invited guests per event. A Lite style costs €4,99 once per event, a Pro style €7,99. You do not need a subscription.

Can I prepare the invitation before the baby is here?
Yes. You make your invitation in advance and publish it only when you want to. As soon as you know the date of your party, you fill it in and share the link.
Can I add a baby registry?
With the Gift list module (€9,99 per event) you put a wish list in your invitation. Guests reserve what they bring, so nobody buys the same thing twice.
How many people can I invite?
Per event up to 25 invited guests with a free account, up to 100 with Lite and up to 250 with Pro.
How do I reach family who are not at ease with a smartphone?
The invitation opens in the browser, also on a tablet or a computer, and nothing needs to be installed. You can send the link by email, or put a QR code on a paper card.
